What credit cards do you accept?

     

We prefer Discover Card, but we also happily accept MasterCard, Visa,
and American Express. Of course we also accept checks made payable to "TaxCalcUSA" when mailed with your order.

Do you accept Purchase Orders?
We only accept Purchase orders from Government Agencies. All other orders must be paid in advance by either credit card or check.

What if I am not satisfied with the product?
We are committed to your satisfaction. Everything we sell is covered by our 30 day money back guarantee. Additionally, some products such as our AmeriCalc software, have extended return periods (see AmeriCalc Questions). Note, personalized and imprinted items not returnable unless it was our mistake. Shipping and Handling not refundable unless we erred.

Can I download a demo of the software?
It depends on the product. For AmeriCalc and 1099-Etc, free demonstration versions can be downloaded here. Unfortunately, due to the size of the programs, WinFiler and Great Tax can not be downloaded. However, just send us and email, and we will be happy to send you a demo of any of our software on CD.

When will my purchase be shipped to me?
The ship date differs by product. Once an item is available for shipping it is generally shipped the next business day after your order. Business supplies are always available to ship. Tax forms are usually available by July of the tax year. 1099-Etc and WinFiler Plus are available by April of the tax year, while WinFiler is available in November. AmeriCalc is generally ready to ship in December of the tax year and the Mutual Fund books ship in February following the tax year. Regardless of when the products will be ready to ship, your credit card will be charged when your order placed.

After I purchase Software, can I download it to get it faster?
1099-Etc can be downloaded as a demo and then we can usually get you an activation code within 1 hour of placing your order. Unfortunately, at this time the full versions of AmeriCalc, WinFiler and Great Tax are too large to accommodate downloads. However, we ship right away once it is available and we offer express shipping.

Do you collect sales tax?
Never! Our corporate headquarters are strategically located in tax free New Hampshire. And we ship to you from warehouses strategically located around the country so we are near you, but never need to charge you a sales tax.

What are your shipping charges?
Other companies charge you inflated shipping charges as a hidden way of charging more. And then, the more you spend with them, the more they charge you for shipping!

Not us. Our shipping and handling charges vary depending on the product. They are listed on the order form, but generally books are $12.95 per order no matter how many you buy. The more you buy the more you save. Form and paper products are also a flat $12.95 per order. The more you buy, the more you save. Due to packaging costs, software is just $5.95 per disc. That's all. The next time you place a $400 order for client material look at how much they are going to charge you for shipping. We beat them all the way around.

What if I am not satisfied with AmeriCalc?
We are very confident that you will find our product easy to use and a great tool. However, if you are unsatisfied for any reason, please call our friendly technical support at (603) 434-1905. If we cannot resolve your issues to your complete satisfaction, we will gladly issue you a refund until February 1, 2005 (less shipping and handling charges).   Sorry, due to the short nature of the tax season, after February 1, 2005 we can not accept any returns or issue any refunds.

Can I upgrade my single user version to a multi-user version?
Yes. The upgrade cost is only $69.95. All the information you entered into the single user version is carried over into the multi-user version so you do not need to re-enter any data.

Can I add more users to the multi-user version?
Absolutely. The multi-user edition includes 5 user licenses, but at the time of initial purchase you can order any number of users from 5 to 255. The cost is only $12.95 for each user after the first five. Additionally, at any time after your purchase, you can add more users (in any increment you want) for just $12.95 per user license. Best of all, the upgrade can be done right over the phone in less than a minute.

How many users can use the multi-user version?
The multi-user version comes with at least five user licenses, but can have up to 255 users. If you want to add users, you can buy additional user licenses for only $12.95 each at the time of your order. Or, you can buy them later and be using them minutes of your purchase.

What are the minimum system requirements?
System requirements are:

How often is the fund data updated and how do I get it?
During the tax season, we update the fund data at least weekly as we receive it from the fund companies. We begin receiving data in mid-January, but some fund companies do not make their data available until the end of January and a few as late as March. In any event, we guarantee that we have more data, and have it sooner than anyone else. Updates are free for our customers and are posted on the fund data page of this website.

If you prefer not to download the data from the Internet, we offer updates via CD. The discs are shipped twice each season, mid-February and mid march. The cost of this Update Disc Service is just $9.95 for the season.

Can I download the program?
At this time, the AmeriCalc version is too large for a practical download. However, once it is available, we ship AmeriCalc the same day your order is received.

If I purchase early, when will the software be shipped to me?
The software generally ships in late December. This gives you time to install it and become familiar with how to use the software before the crunch of the tax season. Your credit card will be charged at the time you reserve your copy of the program.
